Privacy Policy

This page explains how apps published by Small App Lab handle user information. Privacy practices may differ depending on whether an app works entirely offline or uses network services or system permissions.

Effective date: May 14, 2026 Provider: Small App Lab

Overview

We respect and protect the privacy of everyone who uses our services. Where an app processes personal information, we handle it in accordance with this Privacy Policy and with appropriate care and diligence.

Except as described in this Privacy Policy, we will not disclose your personal information or provide it to a third party without your prior consent. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Your continued use of an app after an update means that you accept the revised policy. This Privacy Policy forms part of the terms governing your use of our services.

Offline Apps

If an app works entirely offline and does not include account sign-in, cloud sync, leaderboards, advertising, analytics, third-party SDKs, or other network features, it generally does not actively collect, upload, or share your personal information.

Data created in an offline app is generally stored only on your device. This may include preferences, usage records, content you create locally, or cache files the app needs to operate. You can remove this local data by uninstalling the app, clearing its data, or using the relevant system settings.

An offline app may request a system permission, such as access to notifications, photos, files, health data, or device sensors, solely to provide the corresponding on-device feature. Unless the app page or permission notice clearly states otherwise, this information is not uploaded to a server.

Apps Using Permissions or Network Services

If an app includes network access, accounts, cloud sync, leaderboards, feedback, analytics, advertising, or other features that require system permissions, it may process information necessary to provide those features when you use or authorize them.

This information may include device information, app version, language, access date and time, software and hardware characteristics, network status, crash logs, feedback you submit, and other data required for a specific feature.

If an app needs access to health data, photos, files, notifications, location, camera, microphone, or another sensitive permission, the purpose will be described in the system permission prompt or within the app. You can disable a permission in your device settings, although the related feature may then be unavailable.

1. Scope

When you use network-enabled services, an app may automatically receive and record information from your phone or device. Depending on the app's actual features and the permissions you grant, this may include health data, language, access date and time, software and hardware characteristics, and records of requested web content.

2. How We Use Information

After obtaining data, an app may upload it to a server to provide leaderboards, cloud synchronization, statistics, or another feature-related service and to improve your experience with the service.

For offline apps that do not require network access or server-side processing, we do not actively upload local data to a server.

3. Disclosure

We do not disclose your information to untrusted third parties, except:

  1. when disclosure to a third party, administrative authority, or judicial authority is required by applicable law or a lawful request;
  2. when disclosure is necessary because you have violated applicable laws, regulations, or relevant rules; or
  3. when you have given explicit consent to disclosure to an authorized party.

4. Storage and Transfer

Information collected by an app may be stored on servers used by us or by related service providers. It may be transferred to, accessed from, stored in, or displayed in a country or region outside the place where you live or where the information was collected.

For offline apps, local data is generally stored on your device and is not actively transferred across borders by the app itself.

5. Information Security

We take reasonable security measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, public disclosure, use, alteration, damage, or loss.

When using network services for transactions or interactions with a third party, you may need to provide personal information, such as contact details or a postal address, directly to that party. Please protect your personal information and share it with others only when necessary.

If you believe your personal information has been compromised, please contact the developer promptly so that appropriate action can be taken.

Appendix: Lucky Numbers (LuckyPick) — App-Specific Privacy Notice

This section applies to Lucky Numbers / 幸运号码本 on iOS and Android (package name com.hong.luckypick). Where it differs from the general terms above, this section prevails.

1. Information we do not collect

  • No sign-up or login is required. We do not collect your name, phone number, email, contacts, photos or precise location.
  • Numbers, notebooks, custom rules and preferences you create are stored only on your device. The developer cannot access them and they are never uploaded to our servers.
  • Android Backup (Google account) or iCloud Backup may back up app data according to your system settings; such backups are handled by Google / Apple.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app shows ads (banner, interstitial, app-open) through Google AdMob, provided by Google LLC. When ads are shown, Google may automatically collect and process the following for ad delivery, frequency capping, measurement, fraud prevention and service improvement:

  • Device or other identifiers: Android Advertising ID, iOS IDFA (only if you allow tracking), app instance ID;
  • Approximate location derived from IP address (country/city level; no GPS);
  • App interactions: ad impressions, clicks, app launches;
  • Diagnostics: crash logs and performance data;
  • Device information: model, OS version, language, network type.

This data is collected and processed by Google; the developer only sees aggregated ad reports. Data is encrypted in transit. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.

Your choices:

  • Android: delete or reset your Advertising ID in Settings → Privacy → Ads (or Settings → Google → Ads).
  • iOS: you can decline the tracking prompt, or turn it off later in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
  • Users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland see a consent form on first use and can change their choice at any time in the app under Settings → Ad Privacy.
  • After purchasing "Remove Ads", the app no longer shows or requests any ads.

3. In-app purchases

"Remove Ads" is a one-time purchase processed by Google Play Billing or the Apple App Store. The developer never receives your card or payment account details — only a purchase confirmation used to unlock and restore the feature on your device.

4. In-app reviews

The app may invite you to rate it via Google Play In-App Review or the Apple rating prompt. Reviews are handled by Google / Apple; we do not receive your personal information.

5. Feedback

If you send feedback by email, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include (which may include app and OS versions). We use it only to reply and improve the app.

6. Permissions

The Android app only uses network permissions (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE) to load ads and complete purchases; the Advertising ID permission is used by the ads SDK. The app does not request camera, microphone, location, contacts or storage permissions.

7. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us to delete it.

8. Retention and deletion

On-device data is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data. Ad-related data collected by Google is retained under Google's policies; you can manage it by resetting your Advertising ID. To delete information you emailed to us, just let us know.
